The Hounds of Chaos
Just a small town girl living in a lonely world.
A somewhat lanky and awkward 15-year-old. Agender (she/her/hers). Smart, curious, and charming. Long hair, freckles, a little brash and over-confident and can make a lot of mistakes, but believes that making mistakes means that she learns faster. And she learns really, really fast. Super energetic and gung-ho. Posi.
Chiari has a familiar in the form of a Tarantula, named Culmir (Cooll-meer). Culmir is narcissistic and imparts a special attack to Chiari, allowing her to attack a foe with her fingers for 1d4 points of damage and inflict her enemies with poison that slows their attacks. Culmir also knows a spell which Chiari can cast if Culmir is around, on herself or others, called Spider Climb which allows Chiari or another character to scale a sheer surface.
Chiari has the ability to invoke her patron, the King of Elfland. Currently, the King of Elfland looks favorably upon Chiari as she charmed him with a rhyme and song. He has given her a mark in the form of green leaves that ring her hairline, a sacred tattoo and blessing from the King of Elfland.

O n a m oo nlit nig h t as Chiari was studying by candle-light, her door was knocked clean through as a wild Beast-man appeared and took Chiari and her Master hostage. “We’re caught!” he exclaimed, “But at least we are no t surrounded by strangers. T here are o thers here that we know and love, fellow villagers. We can survive if we work together.” “Master!” she replied, “Let us work wicked magic to escape!” “No Chiari,” he replied, “You know the rules and so do I. A full commitment’s required for each spell, a night of full devotion. We cannot escape this way.” “That’s not exactly what I’m thinking of,” Chiari replied. “You know, I wouldn’t get this from any other guy here, they would all be happy for any opportunity to escape.” “I just wanna tell you how I’m feeling, Chiari. I
gotta make you understand. You can never use magic this way or it is gonna hurt you. I can’t just give you up like this and let you do what you want.” “But…okay, Master. I’m never gonna let you down.” “Don’t worry, Chiari. I’m never gonna run around and desert you. Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.”
